Live Sound Mixing Classes

The Centre for Music Performance is delighted to be partnering with Clare Sound to launch a brand-new series of Live Sound Mixing Classes. Open to all students of the University of Cambridge, these classes will provide all the information you need to get started in producing and sound engineering for live events.

Learn how to set up and run live sound equipment with these sessions run by our professional coach. Learn skills such as desk set up, sound check, understanding your systems, use of mics, gain, compression, gates ,EQ structures, and monitoring. Organised in conjunction with Clare Sounds, allowing you to learn on industry standard equipment.

These sessions will be led by Richard De-Cordova, an experienced AV Theatre Technical Manager here at the University.

Spaces on these sessions are limited, with session sign-ups opening a few weeks before each session.

The first session will be held Tuesday 24 October at 6pm
