Masterclasses

The Centre for Music Performance curates and promotes an inspiring and ambitious programme of masterclasses, workshops and events across multiple genres.

Highlights of the 2022-23 season included an exclusive masterclass and Q&A session with Mercury-nominated rock band Black Country, New Road, a fireside chat with contemporary composer Eric Whitacre and organist Anna Lapwood, a musical directing masterclass with trumpeter Mark Armstrong, and a composers masterclass with Nico Muhly. Past seasons have featured multi-genre musician Jacob Collier, and acclaimed British tenor, Mark Padmore.
