Emma Jazz is an Emmanuel-based (but open to everyone) jazz band that plays mainly jazz and funk tunes with some pop arrangements and classic vocal numbers thrown in too! We are an auditioned but very friendly ensemble and have a history of performing at May Balls and other events throughout the academic calendar. Auditions are open to everyone and happen soon after Freshers’ Week with our music-making getting underway quickly after the start of term.
Last year we performed at balls and garden parties throughout the year, as well as at the opening of the Emmanuel college bar. We hope that by joining Emma Jazz you’ll get a fun and fruitful year of music making!
