The Cambridge Gamelan Society is an ensemble dedicated to the performance of traditional and contemporary Javanese gamelan music.
In the Michaelmas Term, we will be working towards a shadow puppet theatre performance with a master gamelan musician from East Java.
We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7.30–9.30pm in the Cudworth Room, Faculty of Music, West Road. The first session, on 10 October, is a taster session open to anyone who might be interested in joining the group.
