Are you aged 11 – 18? Would you like to try playing the organ?
The Cambridge Organ Experience is a FREE day for young musicians aged 11-18 and takes place every year on a Saturday in the May/June half-term holiday.
The day consists of an opportunity to meet organists from a number of Cambridge colleges – including social media sensation Anna Lapwood and President-elect of the Royal College of Organists Sarah MacDonald, as well the chance to play several of the magnificent instruments around the city, to chat to current students and directors of music, to hear a short recital, and to ask as many questions as you like!
The day generally runs from 10:00 to 16:00, and is open to all levels of experience – from complete beginners to advanced students. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore the world of organ-playing!
