Lizzie’s role at the CMP is to make sure all the performance projects happen. She’s previously worked at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (Innovation, Short Courses), Royal Academy of Music (Concerts, Chamber Music, Alumni Events) and Aldeburgh Music (Britten-Pears Young Artists, Opera), including coordinating Peter Grimes on the Beach as part of their Britten centenary. Lizzie has also coordinated over 300 cultural tours all over the world. Lizzie studied music at Newcastle and Birmingham universities, specialising in both baroque ensemble performance and subcultural theory in popular musics. She is a recorder player, avid traveller and reader and spends far too much time at gigs. When working from home she is assisted by a small black cat named Jiji.
