Auditions are held each academic year for Cambridge University Chamber Choir (CUCC) and Cambridge University Symphony Chorus (CUSC).
Chamber Choir
Auditions for 2022–23 have now closed. If you are interested in joining, we are sometimes able to accept applications later in the year. Please email the Chamber Choir Manager, who will be able to advise you of any further auditions.
Symphony Chorus
Auditions for Lent term 2023 are now open. Please complete the form at https://forms.office.com/r/hKQHESNr09.
How to book an audition
- If you would like to audition, you will need to complete the application form. These will open shortly before auditions are held.
- When you submit your application you will be sent a link to select your audition time. You are encouraged to sign-up early to choose from a wider range of times.
- Detailed information on requirements for each ensemble can be found below.
- If you want to apply for both choirs, please fill in a separate application form for each.
- All current and past CUSC members are required to re-audition every 3 years.
On the day of the audition
Please arrive around 10 minutes before your audition time.
- Chamber Choir: sign in with the Porter's Lodge and ask to be directed to David Lowe's rooms. Please wait outside until the auditioners call you in.
- Symphony Chorus: sign-in with the helper at the front door. They will show you into your audition at the correct time.
