Congratulations to the Daniel Daley Sextet who starred at the Cambridge Club Festival this weekend as part of a lineup which included the likes of Lionel Richie, Grace Jones and Billy Ocean having won the University of Cambridge’s inaugural Take it to the Bridge band competition back in April!

The final round of the competition took place in front of a sold-out crowd at Hidden Rooms, and also featured stellar performances from the group and the other finalists, Temor and Colonel Spanky’s Love Ensemble.

Following an incredibly close audience vote in conjunction with judging from Frazer Robinson (Cambridge Club Festival Co-Founder) and Lizzie Hale, and Felix Asare from the Centre for Music Performance, the Sextet were crowned as the winners.
